The Linux Experience

i would like to interject you for a bit

I have been using this thing called linux for almost 3 years now.

Why i switch

Usually when you see someone make the switch, it's mostly because they are tired of their current OS's crap and wanted to try something new. Well I was mostly the latter. My first knowledge of linux existing is when I was (and kinda still are) into VMs and installing various OSes.

How's the first time

My first distro

When I made the decision to use it "full time" in mid 2022, I jump into it with the only option I know: Archlinux. The installation process went without problems is what i want to say, but it wasn't the case. I have so much trouble when trying to connect to the internet (specificately ethernet), it would just restart the machine every time I enable it, and I don't know how to fix it, using different driver didn't work, and eventually I just have to switch to wifi because it cause me so much headache (I found out that the in-kernel ethernet driver is causing problems wiht my hardware later and was able to use ethernet reboot-less). Thankfully that and the issues caused by it (like reboots while installing packages) was the only one that I encountered.

What I learned

what have I learned? Look at me, I can't live without it now. Every time I touch windows or mac I feel . I have real god damn problem now (that is just one of my multiples of problems I am super fucking normal).
