Void Cube
holesHave you ever wanted a Rubik's cube, but instead of having solid centers, it would have holes on it? The void cube is just that.

The first one I got was made by LanLan. Turning is alright as long as you align the cube properly, no corner cutting on this one. Wish that someone can make one that's good for speedcubing...

Well now that Qiyi released a speedcubable void cube, I went ahead and bought one, and it's better than the lanlan in everyway. It turns well, and actually can corner cut! Not as much as a standard 3x3, but better than not at all (do note that loosening may cause some catasropic pops, happed to me a lot). The model I got also has magnets, which helps the turning a bit (doesn't help the popping though...).
Solving wise is basically solving 3x3 without centers. Because of that, some weird cases may occur that don't happen in normal 3x3, like swapping only 2 edges or 2 corners. I might try speedsolving them, it is just 3x3 with some parity.
